With the increasing global environmental protection awareness and the continuous introduction of support policies for clean energy transportation by governments, the development of zero-emission has become an industry focus. The National Zero-Emission Freight Strategy launched by the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation in the United States in 2024 to promote the widespread application of zero-emission trucks and encourage states to take action to advance the construction of charging infrastructure for medium and heavy vehicles, thereby accelerating the of zero emissions in road freight. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has also updated the greenhouse gas emission regulations for commercial trucks and buses, clarifying the specific paths for industry emission reduction.
This collaboration between Times Electric and Horizon Motor will leverage Times Electric's strong R&D capabilities, core component accumulation, and the strategic resources of Horizon Motor major shareholders to rapidly advance the implementation of electric special vehicles, electric trailers, and electric tractors in the United States.
